This is for Six UNROOTED Cuttings of my Chinese Boxwood-Buxus sinica-This is the shrub you see on large estates either displayed in ornate Pots along a walkway or sculptured into different shapes. Lush dark green compact bush that grows slowly but well worth the wait. Bonsai artisans love it as they can shape and sculpt without too much pruning; It grows in roundish bush-not straggley and growing in all directions; Florist use it alot for greenery in thier bouquets as the stems grow long and straight and leaves are tiny and dencely located on all the stem; Evergreen in zones 5-9 .If you have a ‘Brown thumb’ with plants, you need not worry with this one; Truely a must for the ‘Lazy gardener’; It will grow in full sun or partial shade; It will grow in most soils, and is drought resistant, or will grow in wet lands as well. This is a very tenatious plant; It will grow any where, even in the house as a house plant. Its density of leaves makes it great for hedges, and sculpturing, but most popular displayed in ornate pots;; Winter hardy and drought hardy in zones 5 through 9; Southern dry-hot area’s may have to plant in partial shade, if sun is so hot it burns the leaves; You will receive Six unrooted cuttings; Rooting instructions inclosed;Very hardy & wonderful plant;It will eventully reach any thing from 8-12 feet tall-but this takes many-many years; I keep mine pruned to about 6 ft. Seeds,Appliques,lace & trims,scarves,hankies, & small jewelry is shipped free if paid for in same shipping where the base shipping feehas been paid; SHIPPING; The cost in shipping has become so crazy, I have had to increase my shipping fees; The difference in the different auctions has to do with weight. Cuttings and surface rooted plants weigh alot less than rooted ones. I ship all plants I take from the soil, in soil, as that is thier natural growth and keeps down plant shock from transplanting. Shrubs , trees and some larger plants have huge root bases, thus they will weigh more than others.
