You are bidding on 4, 6″ or longer stem cuttings off of one of my all time favorite rose bushes,Blue Girl. Blue Girlis a Hybrid Tea that is a lavender colored rose with a hint of blue. These will be mature stems that are not too old, but not too young. Rest assured, they will come off of a ‘just bloomed’ stem to insure that your cuttings will be bloomers and not just foilage. Blue Girl grows quite fast, so with in a few months you will have a nice size plant and by next spring you will have a large beauty! To avoid any confusion, please note that these are not rooted. They will have to be rooted by the purchaser, which is very easy, and usually takes about 2 weeks this time of year. Check out my other lots for more rose cuttings. I do combine shipping! I just recently did my first stem cuttings and used Mister Lincoln. Wow- it was alot easier then I thought. There are several methodsfor doing rose cuttings but I used the one I knew, the gallon bag method. Simply fill a small pot with about 3/4″ of sand and fill the rest of the way with potting soil. After snipping the ends of you rose cuttings wound the sides to help them root faster. Place them in a pot at and angle making sure they make contact with the sand. Water thoroughly. Cover the small pot with a gallon bag. I used 3″ terracotta pots, slid the gallon bag over the top and halfway down the pot and secured with a rubber band. You may have to blow a little air inside to insure that it stands up. The gallon bag is great for keeping in the moisture and the humidty high! I highly recommend this method as mine rooted in about 2 weeks! You will also receive instructions with you shipment. The will be pruned and ready for you to ‘wound’ when you receive them. I items are shipped on Mondays and Tuesdays to insure that they will not be held over by the weekend. They will not be cut from the bush until the time of shipment to insure their safety. It is normal for them to drop a few leaves so don’t be alarmed. **Please make arrangements to care for you plants ASAP so that they do not set in a hot mailbox. I would hate for you to receive a wilted rose clipping** In the event of a hurricane or other natural disaster in my hometown or yours, I will delay the clipping and shipping to insure your plants’ safety. I do combine shipping. Each additional set of rose clippings will be $2.00. Please wait for all items to end and pay for them at once to receive the discount.
