    MONSTERA DELICOSA WHITE VARIEGATEDMonstera delicosa has been a favorite for many years. Referred also to as the Swiss cheese plant, this is a rare version of the extremely popular house plant. With proper care, young specimens soon develop large adult leaves which are cut and deeply perforated and can get to be almost 2 feet across. Sturdy support is essential and stems can reach a height of 20 feet or more. However, the white lily like flowers and fruit are only likely to appear in a controlled environment such as a conservatory or greenhouse plants or in ideal growing conditions such as it’s native habitat. But keep it happy (not hard at all) and it may grow to be very large. The form white variegata has white lines or patches on the leaves and variegation varies from leaf to leaf, and can be in various forms. Some being split down the middle, one side white the other streaked or green or front to back. You never know what you are going to get. The best spot for it would be shaded spot with a lot of brightness/ indirect sunlight. Avoid high nitrogen fertilizers, as this will increase green coloring. Allow soil to dry out between watering’s. Normally grown as a houseplant for the majority of folks, can be grown out doors if you live in say, Florida! Min 50 F in winter, active growth begins at 60 F. This is a beautiful specimen of a white variegated monstera and is a great starter plant. This plant has 4 leaves, each and every leaf has consistent variegation. This is a very beautiful plant and a must have for any beginner or collector. This is a very healthy and robust growing monstera and was re-potted over 3 months back and is growing vigorously. It was propagated for 5 months before separation to reduce stress and encourage rapid growth upon separation.
