    Clivia hyb. variegata # 24,3 1/2 + years old,this is going to be a very compact plant with wide leaves,it is more on the Mandarin Duck form then it is striped,plus it can change to a beautiful Mandarin Duck type plant or make more stripes!!Has a diameter of about 8″ ,6 - 7 leaves are a nice glossy dark green and are 1 1/2″ wide!!variegation is a bright yellow,but may change later on with age!!The plant is not damaged!! The CliviasI am offering all have orange flowers!! You will be bidding onthe beautifulplant in the picture!! Clivias or Kaffir Lily’s come from South Africa,and have been collected and hybridized by the Japanese and Chinese for centuries!!! With prices of the very finest plants selling well into the 100’s of 1000.00’s US Dollars!!!And they have hybridized Clivias into all shapes and size’s,all possible leaf sizes and forms,incredible variegation varieties,and flowers colors in any color you can possibly imagine!! Plants you will recieve from me,I grow in my house,some with window light and some with over head plant lights,and they make excellent house plants as you can see in the pictures of my plants!! All will have nice healthy roots,and leaves,and packed very well,as not to damage any of the leaves!! Clivias need good draining soil,and do not like to be wet!! I use about 1/3 coarse washed sand,does not have to be washed,just coarse!! Add 1/3 good Canadian peat moss,soak in water to get it moist first before mixing,and add 1/3 of good quality garden mulch,the more coarse the better!! And mix together,giving just enough water to make it barely moist!! They light shade to grow the best,or if you have double paine windows,they will grow just fine with no shade needed!! If growing them outside,need a nice bright shady spot,with maybe morning sun OK,depending on where you live??Clivias do not like to be wet,so dry them out between waterings,feed about every other month with good liquid fertilizer. I use a leaf shine product called Pokon,made in Netherlands,and is just a fabulous product,makes leaves look beautiful with no water spots,it repells dust,as I mistmy plants every day to every other day,depending on the humidity of the air too. And I use liquid fertizer in my spray bottles that made the leaves spotted,and no more spots,and it last for months. I live in the desert,and wind and dust here is so fine,its finer then dust,called Poof dirt,as its poof’s up when you walk on it!! So I tried it,and I do not normally recomend any thing,except for plant advice!! Also Clivias like to be root bound,and can stay in the same pot for years,but only after they are more mature. They also make pups that can be removed,and potted or left on the main plant,or keep single for the specimen look!! When they are grown single,they make just fabulous specimen plants,and they are beautiful even with out flowers!! Shipping is to the US only,Sorry!!! Insurance is not availiable for plants!!
