This auction is for a freshly collected tuber of Sinningia DEEP PURPLE: (Zaitlin) Dark Red-purple, tubular flowers, white throat, darkdots and lines from throat. Dark green red backed foliage,upright grower. Sorry - no bloom pictures yet. These plantsare closely related to and part of the same family group as the African Violet. Water well, then allow the plants to dry out somewhat before watering again. They do not like to be kept too wet. Plant your tuber in well drained mix on arrival, with the stem end up. It should sprout in a matter of weeks. I’ve been growing violets and other gessies since 1977. Rest assured you will receive a strong, healthy,tuber expertly packed.
