AGAVE GYPSOPHILA VARIEGATA – “IVORY CURLS”
This variegated form of
Agave Gypsophila is quite new and there are limited numbers available on the international market. It is a spectacular feature plant for any
succulent enthusiast and looks great in pots or gardens. It is an improved variegated form of Agave Gypsophila that originated in South East Queensland.
Unlike more common agaves
the striking thing about this plant is the wavy spined leaves. It grows best in full sun to part shade reaching up to one meter high and as wide. It will tolerate very dry conditions but naturally, it will grow best in improved conditions. It will flower after 4-6 years with a panicle of golden flowers reaching 3-4 meters in height. It will also produce pups.
The plant pictured is the
one you are bidding on. While I have several of these to sell I always photograph the individual plant listed. This beautiful large specimen measures 40cm
wide from point to point and 23cm high in a 200mm pot.

These are large plants that
weigh around 1.5kg when packaged. Plants sold internationally are posted Monday to Wednesday to ensure they are not held by the post over the weekend. I am happy to combine postage as the addition of another plant to the parcel only adds a few extra dollars - feel free to ask.
